Adam Hussain of A H Contemporary Glass creates contemporary glass art from concept to installation, specialising in kiln-form glass techniques to create one off artworks, which have a handmade character. The relationship between glass, light and space is a key element in his studio practice; by using both transparent and opaque glass he experiments with the transmitted and reflective light created by each piece.
In this event, Adam will take you on a tour of his studio and gallery space, introduce his creative business and demonstrate some of the techniques that he uses in his work. You will have the opportunity to ask questions throughout.
