Handmade in Britain | The Interactive Virtual Craft Fair is an e-commerce platform, meaning we handle the website, marketing, sales and operations for you.

Fair dates: Tuesday 23- Sunday 28 March 2021

Deadline to Apply: Friday 12 February 2021. We would expect you to submit your application in good time before the deadline as we review applications weekly.

All Profiles & Products to be uploaded: Thursday 4 March 2021

Proficient in Technology: It would be an advantage. However, we create a guide explaining how to access your dashboard, upload products, run live sessions, and more. Even better, we hold free “Website Training Session” and practice sessions with “Live Session” exhibitors.

Internet Connection:  A good internet connection is essential. During the event exhibitors streaming live session from their studio/workshop or home must have a strong internet connection.

At the moment we are only accepting applications from UK-based makers. However, we are hoping to start accepting applications from international makers in the future.

Yes, we are accepting applications from international makers based here in the UK, who must hold a sterling bank account.

To complete successfully our short online application form have ready details about you and your work; your business contact information, 25-30 words about you and your collection (third person), professionally photographed product & lifestyle images along with their retail prices.

There is no separate application fee. However, if you are successful you will be required to pay a participation fee of £199.00 + vat

The participation fee includes:

  • Working from your studio/workshop or home at your own pace
  • 6 day participation – e-commerce online fair open for sales 24 hours per day
  • Host an “Exhibitors Live” session or “Workshop” with the chance to interact with our audience
  • Creating the ultimate shopping experience by completing your exclusive, personalised, exhibitor landing and shop page.
  • Instant communication with visitors – your own “Chat Room” where customers can interact directly with you
  • Unlimited product submission
  • Free “Website Training Session” & “Best Web Practices” Product and Manual guide
  • Free practice sessions with “Live Session” exhibitors
  • Extensive, targeted, digital marketing campaign in UK and US
  • Trusted & secure online sales platform

  • We will send our decision within one week of application.
  • If your application is successful we will send you a Welcome email and your User ID and Password.
  • You will be sent a “Best Web Practices” Product & Manual guide and we will provide a free “Website Training Session”.
  • If your application is unsuccessful, we will send you a short feedback.

You will receive payment 28 days after the order is “delivered” on your dashboard. This is to comply with UK laws of returns and refunds.

Each product sale through Handmade in Britain | The Interactive Virtual Craft Fair is subject to a 20% + vat commission charge.
