Poppy Field (b. 1993; London, UK).
Poppy is a figurative sculptor (Florence Academy of Art) with a background in the History of Art (Courtauld Institute). She works from the life model, creating sculptures for both the private and public realm. Poppy typically models her maquettes in oil-based plastilina and her sculptures in water-based clay before casting in silicon bronze. Poppy set up her studio at Warren Park Heritage & Craft Centre in East Herts following the sale of her first life-size sculpture 'Everything in Now'. This was commissioned in bronze through an auction at the Victoria & Albert Museum and is now installed in a private garden in The Chilterns.
